Recently, some friends of mine discussed about Chubu International Airport, or Central Japan International Airpot, and the location city. The conjunction city is going to change its name to "Centrair city" because the pet name of Chubu Airport is "centrair", which is a synthesised word of "central Japan" and "airport."
To my surprise, they did not know once-called New Tokyo International Airport became Narita Airport last April....orz
I should say that public relations department of Narita Airport Authority did not made enough efforts to advertise its name.

Wmn, looking these two sites, I feel Centrair is "centre" of Japan, though its location is much farther than Narita Airport to Tokyo...
